This is a long-over due letter to express my deep appreciation of the work both of you did in connection with the remodeling of my kitchen and master bed/bathroom.
My reluctance to have someone (basically a stranger) in my home while I was not physically present was a major reason I waited so long to undertake these remodeling projects. As you may recall, these were two separate projects (with eight months between them) that covered a period of approximately 12 weeks in total. Eric, during this time I came to know you as an individual and as a craftsman. The entire time you were in my home you treated me and my home with a level of respect that one does not always find. And as a craftsman, your degree of attention to detail was amazing. I can still see you working patiently with those tiny tiles on the wall for my kitchen backsplash, making certain it was exactly what I wanted — not too high or low, not too narrow or wide. I never knew there were so many options. You displayed an attention to detail I would have expected from an artist. I appreciated not only how clean you left the workplace at the end of the day, but also your letting me know what was planned for the following day. As we’ve discussed, there will be other projects in my home that I would like your help with, and now there will be no hesitation having you come and do the work without me being physically present.
Donette, thank you too for your assistance with the design of the rooms. You took the time to listen to what I liked / disliked, considered the overall style of my home, and any future plans I hope to have in my home. And when it seemed like I was heading down a path that would result in a project that I would not be ultimately happy with, you gently reminded me of how I wanted the completed projects to look. To this day I would not change a single thing!
I wish you much success in the future and hope Plaisance Home Improvement brings you as much happiness as you give your customers. You’ve created a business that combines an old-fashioned work ethic with a vision to the future along with a Southern charm, compliments of Eric’s accent. Please feel free to use this letter or any portion thereof, as a reference. As you know, I have already referred you to others and will continue to do so.
Fondly,
Veronica
