Pretty Kitchen in Grey and Blue

We love this kitchen!  It was so much fun to design and install!

This 36″ Kohler farmhouse sink in stainless marries a traditional style to a contemporary material to create a fantastic transitional style.

Stacked cabinets with glass doors and interior LED lighting create a great display area and make the most of tall ceilings.

A light rail installed beneath the upper cabinets conceals and helps diffuse under cabinet LED lighting.  These lights are installed on a dimmer switch which allows them to transition from true task lighting to ambient lighting to a night light for midnight snacks.

The  cabinets used in this design take function to a whole new level with pantry and spice rack pull outs flanking either side of the 36” KitchenAid range.

A blind corner optimizer makes the “blind” part of the cabinet accessible with double swing out “cloud” shelves.

A high quality, two tier silverware organizer that glides in and out smoothly and silently makes even a narrow drawer roomy enough for tons of utensils.

An appliance lift creates a convenient, permanent home for those heavy KitchenAid mixers, a blender, a juicer or other kitchen appliance.  The shelf lifts and locks into place creating a stable work surface while a bottom pull out tray allows all of the appliance accessories to be stored close at hand.

Deep drawers are excellent for storing pots and pans; large bowels; ice buckets; and dishes.  This is one area where a professional designer brings tremendous value to a project by space planning to customize your storage to fit your needs and by insuring that your cabinets are rated properly for their intended use.

The wall cabinet interiors are finished to match the exterior cabinet finish so the beauty is more than just skin deep.

The flooring is one hundred percent waterproof with a layer of cork to provide sound insulation; warmth insulation; and a softer surface under foot than tile or hardwood;

The low profile, stainless and glass pull out ventilation hood is sleek and functional and turns on and off automatically when it is extended

A marble mosaic back splash is combined with quartz counter tops to bring in both glamour and durability.

And all of the gorgeous, artistic photographs like this one were taken by Kylene Cleaver of Leave it to Me Photography.
All of the not so great ones were probably taken by me!
