We are excited to have our design featured in the November issue of Delaware Today magazine as a finalist in their 2017 Home Design Contest!

This bathroom is one of a pair of bathrooms in our customer’s home.  And we got to design and install both!  When we first saw this gorgeous home we fell in love! Everything about this home, including the architecture and landscaping, was beautiful and meticulously maintained.

Well, except for those two bathrooms …

After gutting the entire bathroom we installed large scale, rectified, porcelain tile on the bathroom floor; printmaker’s style vanities with marble countertops; Hansgrohe faucets in chrome; and sparkly pendant lights.

 

On the other side of the room we replaced the existing shower enclosure…

 

… with a river rock shower floor; broken joint calacatta marble mosaic tiles on the shower walls; Hansgrohe shower fixtures; an LED shower light; a custom, frameless glass shower door; and we added a sleek, skirted Toto toilet with a built in washlet.

 

The design process was a great deal of fun!  These customers were so open and interested and engaging.  As we worked together on this project, whether exchanging emails while they were away on vacation or reviewing samples with a cup of tea at their kitchen table,  it became a true collaboration amongst friends.
